Outer Rim HoloNet Expansion Delayed

PORTMOAK SECTOR NODE – More than 250,000 worlds in the Outer Rim will have to go without HoloNet access for another year, the General Ministry Communications Agency announced yesterday. Citing budgetary restructuring as the culprit, the proposed Outer Rim HoloNet Expansion will be delayed at least another fiscal year. This means that Portmoak, Arkanis, Parmic, Quence, and Kathol sectors will go without primary HoloNet conduits. These distant sectors currently use a network of subspace relays for intersector communication, but updates from the Core or distant regions are typically delayed anywhere from days to weeks.
