Background: The Omicron-class attack shuttle, was a model of shuttle made by Cygnus Spaceworks used by the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. It was the predecessor of the Lambda-class shuttle later used by the Imperial Navy and was the smallest of the Cygnus Spaceworks line of shuttles used during the Clone Wars era. The Havoc Marauder, the starship of the Galactic Republic’s Clone Force 99, was a modified Omicron-class attack shuttle.

Designed with fold-down wings, it was similar in design to the larger Nu-class and Rho-class shuttles but designed for smaller landing pads. Its boarding hatch was located on the port side of the craft. It was primarily used by the Grand Army of the Republic for covert and undercover missions and allowed it to operate far away from bases and capital ships. Unlike the Republic’s LAAT/i gunship, the Omicron-class was also equipped with seats for 20 passengers due to much longer travel times.
