Background: “Lock” was the nickname of a clone trooper captain who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Under the command of Jedi General Eeth Koth, he led the Jedi Master’s unit. In 21 BBY, Lock was stationed aboard the Venator-class Star Destroyer Steadfast when it was attacked by General Grievous and his contingent of Separatist forces. Lock led his fellow clone troopers in an effort to repel the droid boarding party at the cruiser’s airlocks. Faced with overwhelming odds, Koth ordered Lock and his troops to evacuate the vessel, much to the captain’s dismay. Not long after that order, Koth was bested by Grievous and his forces when they breached the ship’s bridge.

Lock was equipped with Phase I clone trooper armor, which featured the green and yellow markings of Eeth Koth’s unit. Additionally, his helmet sported a visor and an antenna was attached to his left shoulder plate. In combat, Lock wielded a DC-15A blaster carbine, a standard-issue weapon for clone troopers of the Galactic Republic.
