Cyber-Optic: Many Keredians hardwired their brains to be directed into an external ocular lens apparatus. Background: Dewi Pamular was a Keredian male fisher who worked on the moon Narkina 5 with his brother, Freedi Pamular. While fishing at a quarry lake on the moon in around 5 BBY, the pair captured Cassian Andor and Ruescott Melshi, fugitives who had escaped from a nearby Imperial prison.
Dewi and Freedi discussed turning in the prisoners for a reward, but as the Empire was responsible for spoiling the local waters and killing off the fish that the brothers would usually catch, they decided to help Andor and Melshi escape instead, taking them to the world Niamos on board their quadjumper.
