Background: Clone Medical Officers specialized in medical treatments. They served aboard Haven-class medical stations and other starships during the Clone Wars. Trained in healing like clone trooper medics, clone medical officers were specifically stationed aboard hospital stations and ships throughout the galaxy. They attended the basic officer training program then attended specialized medical training that included emergency surgery, bacta tank operation, biochemistry, anatomy, hematology, oncology, pathology, toxicology, pharmacology, genetics, and advanced medicine. Training a Medical Officer took five years and they were very valuable to the Republic and later the Empire.
