Background:Â Bunta was a dark poisonous substance made from dried leaves of a plant from the planet Brendok where children were instructed in its use for hunting. If it was distilled, its effects would last for a shorter period. During the High Republic Era, the Jedi Master Torbin died after he drank a small vial of concoction containing bunta, which was given to him by the assassin Mae Aniseya.
