Background: Batcher, designated LH-201 by the Galactic Empire, was a lurca hound from the planet Weyland. Initially aggressive, Batcher was given her name and tamed over time by the clone Omega, who was responsible for feeding the lurca hounds in Mount Tantiss. After Batcher sustained injuries on one of her patrols, she was marked for termination. In an attempt to save the hound’s life, Omega treated Batcher’s wound. Nonetheless, her domestication and growing attachment to Omega was viewed as a detriment by the Empire and the termination order was maintained. In a final effort, Omega overpowered the lurca hounds’ handler droid, K-9X1, and freed Batcher from captivity. When Omega and fellow clone Crosshair made their escape from Weyland, Batcher aided them by attacking the pursuing TK stormtroopers, then left the planet alongside Omega and Crosshair.
