Background: Zepher was a Mon Calamari starship engineer who ran a starship repair shop based on the moon Dedoon of the planet Tenoo. In 232 BBY, he prepared Jedi Vector starfighters for three Jedi younglings—Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs—who had come to the moon to bring the ships back to their Jedi Temple on Tenoo. Zepher, however, had them practice flying the Vectors before doing so and offered them his repair services whenever the younglings wished.
