Taborr Val Dorn and his gang of pirates associates EB-3 and Pord, robbed the Kublop Springs marketplace. The pirates terrorized a Nautolan shopkeeper and loaded their stolen fruit into a cart. As they were about to leave, they were confronted by Jedi Initiates Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs. Val Dorn grumbled that the Jedi are always stealing the fun, but Brightstar responded there is nothing fun about stealing from others. Solay further added that they were going to give back the stolen goods. Nubs agreed silently.

Val Dorn used an energy emitter on his arm to push the Jedi back. In response, the Jedi used their Force powers to snatch the pirates’ cart. Val Dorn then sent EB-3 to retrieve the cart and Pord to stop the Jedi. While EB-3 engaged in a tug of war with the Jedi, Pord managed to strike Nubs in the head with her battle axe. However, Solay used the Force to push Pord to the ground.

Alone, Brightstar needed more strength to retrieve the cart. While EB-3 ran away with the cart, Val Dorn fought Brightstar with his electrostaff. Brightstar attempted to hold back Val Dorn with his lightsaber but was distracted while trying to communicate with Solay and Nubs. Val Dorn used his energy emitter to throw Brightstar into his Jedi friends. He taunted the Jedi as failures before leaving with Pord. Nubs was upset, but Brightstar reassured him that Jedi would never give up and resolved that they would retrieve the cart together.

Pursuing the pirates back to the Iron Talon, the three Jedi used their Force powers to pull the cart. EB-3 and Pord attempted to hold on to the cart as the docking ramp closed, but the Jedi prevailed. While Taborr flew the ship, EB-3 told him that the Jedi had returned their cart. Taborr was enraged and accidentally hit the lateral controls on the dashboard, causing their ship to spin out of control momentarily. Eventually, Taborr decided to retreat empty-handed.

Back at the marketplace, the Nautolen shopkeeper thanked the Jedi for retrieving his stolen goods. Brightstar replied that it was always a pleasure to help, especially with his friends. Nubs hugged Brightstar and Solay, prompting Brightstar to warn him that he was hugging them too tightly.
