Game Notes: This module allows a vessel to be tracked through hyperspace, adding a bonus +3D to tracking a fleeing ship. It is also concealed, and requires a Difficult Search test to locate.
Background: Homing beacons, also known as tracking devices, were devices used to track starships and other vehicles. Various vessels, including Slave I and the TIE Advanced v1, could fire homing beacons on to enemy starships with projectile launchers.
