Background: The Imperial medical laboratory was abandoned on the planet Setron. Doctor Royce Hemlock oversaw the facility. It was evacuated and destroyed via orbital bombardment when the Empire lost control of the Slither Vine, a bioweapon they had been cultivating in the laboratory.
