Background: Para fish are a species of silver-scaled fish with black eyes that reside in large bodies of water on the planet Bogano. They primarily feed on small fragments of algae and other plants. However, if algae supplies become scarce, many of the fish will perish, causing the decomposition of their bodies to increase the acidity of the water. This acidity can then erode the ground beneath the water and create sinkholes. In 14 BBY, a group of para fish can be found living in a pool at the bottom of the Subterranean Refuge cave on Bogano.
