Background: The Moraband serpent was a snake from the Sith planet Moraband. During the Clone Wars, on a mission to the planet, Jedi Master Yoda encountered Moraband serpents. They could cluster into a much more giant serpent consisting of hundreds of snakes and speak collectively. The serpents were conjured by the Force Priestesses and the power of the dark side of the Force to determine whether Yoda would train to preserve his identity after death.
