Background: The KYD-21 blaster pistol was a model of blaster pistol. It was made with Hadrian alloy. One such pistol was used by the bounty hunter Zam Wesell during a chase with Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. She fired at Skywalker when he jumped onto the roof of her Koro-2 all-environment Exodrive airspeeder, causing him to let go of his lightsaber. He grappled with Wesell’s gun arm, forcing her to misfire into her speeder’s control board. The vessel was sent plunging out of control into the Coruscant Underworld.
