Background: CT-8801 was a clone who served the Galactic Empire as a stormtrooper in the Imperial Army. Several months after the conclusion of the Clone Wars, CT-8801 was stationed on the planet of Serenno and took part in the extraction of former Separatist leader Count Dooku’s war chest from his ruined palace.

After the conclusion of the Clone Wars and the rise of the Galactic Empire, the planet of Serenno, home of the Separatist leader of Count Dooku, was subjected to an Orbital bombardment by the fledgling Empire and subsequently occupied. The palace of Dooku was a point of great interest to the Empire, as it contained a massive war chest filled with treasures plundered from other worlds by the Separatists during the war. A large detachment of at least 40 clone stormtroopers, CT-8801 included, were dispatched to Dooku’s palace to extract the treasures off-world.

CT-8801 was guarding the perimeter of the palace’s shipyard when Clone Force 99 infiltrated the Imperial installation, intending to steal some of Dooku’s war chest. As the rogue clones hid inside a cargo vessel, they caught the attention of CT-8801, who was subsequently stunned. The stormtrooper’s unconscious body was pulled aboard and hidden in the cargo bay of the vessel. CT-8801’s absence was noted by his commanding officer, Wilco, after he had failed to respond over the comms channel.

After the cargo vessel had taken off with rogue clones Tech, Echo, and Omega trapped aboard, CT-8801 eventually awoke from being stunned. In a daze, the stormtrooper stumbled out of the cargo bay and into the ship’s hallways, but was immediately stunned by the rogue clones once again.
