Background: Luthen Rael was a human male who lived during the Imperial Era. After being contacted by Bix Caleen, he traveled to Ferrix to meet with Cassian Jeron Andor about the sale of a NS-9 Starpath unit Andor had stolen from the Imperial Naval Base in Steergard. After negotiating, Rael attempted to recruit Andor and revealed that he knew a lot about him, which angered Andor. However, the two worked together to escape an ambush of Preox-Morlana soldiers, who were pursuing Andor after he had killed two of their number on Morlana One. Rael followed Andor into the city to secure transportation and later piloted the two off Ferrix in his ship.
