Cut Lawquane, a clone deserter from the Grand Army of the Republic, attempted to purchase passage for himself and his family on a shuttle offworld, but Fauja told him and Clone Sergeant Hunter that his credits were useless due to the recent introduction of Imperial credits, and that the Galactic Empire was requiring anyone who wanted to exchange their currency to register for a chain code.
