After stealing the kyber memory crystal, the bounty hunter Cad Bane chose to kidnap her for the experiments of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, but Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker foresaw this and had the Naboo inform her family. Bane snuck into her bedroom, only to find a tooka doll in her crib, and was arrested by Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano.
