Background: Mox was a young clone cadet who became a prisoner of the Galactic Empire shortly after the end of the Clone Wars. Along with several other cadets, Mox was transferred away from his home planet Kamino and brought to an Imperial laboratory operated by Doctor Royce Hemlock on Setron. There, samples of the clones’ blood were taken for experimentation.
After the Empire lost control of an experimental weapon at the facility, they abandoned it and called an orbital bombardment to eliminate all evidence of their operations there. Mox escaped with fellow clones Deke and Stak before the destruction took place.
