Background: Maxiron Agolerga, as the Pontifex for the Brotherhood of Cognizance, was approached by R2-D2 and C-3PO with a holographic message from a young woman requesting a secret marriage ceremony. Despite the surprise of the request, Agolerga agreed to perform the ceremony and kept the record of the matrimony in the Brotherhood’s archives as per the couple’s request for secrecy. However, it was later discovered that the couples he had wed were Senator Padmé Amidala and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, and the information was used to manipulate Skywalker to the Chancellor’s advantage. Agolerga documented the event in a data book, but the couple’s request for secrecy was not as much of a secret as he initially thought.
