Background: “Dr. Mandible” was a male member of an unknown insectoid alien species who was a regular at the Chalmun’s Spaceport Cantina on Tatooine. As a cantina regular, Dr. Mandible was sitting at the bar of Chalmun’s Spaceport Cantina in Mos Eisley when the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin walked in, searching for work.

Sometime later, while Dr. Mandible was playing a game of sabacc against Peli Motto, Djarin entered the cantina once again, on his quest to locate Mandalorian coverts. Mandible overheard the converstation between Motto and Djarin and subsequently told them about a contact who could help the Mandalorian for his quest. Via translation Motto informed Djarin that he would share the intel with him, should Djarin cover his sabacc call. Djarin agreed, giving Mandible 500 credits, with Motto assuring Djarin that the insectoid was on a “hot streak.” Motto then promptly won the game, ending Dr. Mandible’s winning streak. Mandible kept his word and told Motto about the person that could connect him with the Mandalorians, allowing for her to translate his speech for Djarin.
