Background: A deadly two-handed weapon, the Chain Sickle consisted of a razor-sharp, scythe-shaped blade attached to a cylindrical handle by a long, flexible cord. A second hand grip was positioned approximately one-third of the way between the primary handle and the blade. The cord between the second handle and the blade was covered in small, sharp spikes.
