They had thick, lightsaber-resistant hide, making them dangerous at close range. A subspecies of the creature was the Oggdo Bogdo. In 14 BBY, Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis encountered and fought several oggdos on Bogano, during his search for the ancient Zeffonian Vault on the planet.

Nydaks, also known as Lesser Nydaks, were a predatory species from the planet Dathomir. Carnivorous and highly aggressive, nydaks could easily traverse the terrain of Dathomir using their powerful arms. The many lesser nydaks were dominated by the Nydak Alpha, a subspecies larger and stronger than then the rest of their species.

Mykal were flying predators native to the planet Kashyyyk. They attacked their prey with sweeping strikes from the air, instinctively avoiding retaliation.
