Background: A Mon Calamari youngling resided on the planet Tenoo. In 232 BBY, the youngling and their sister were fishing for channelfish when their haul went missing. While they were looking for it, the bounty hunter Ansen Strung demanded information from them regarding if they had seen a kibbin. Frightened, the Mon Calamari siblings prepared to leave, but one of Strung’s associates, the Jedi youngling Lys Solay, stopped them and calmly asked if they had seen a creature that she showed them on a datapad. They had not, but the youngling told them of the channelfish and that the sister thought she saw something take it.
Strung again lurched forward, ordering them to show him. At Solay’s urge, he added “please.” Both Mon Calamari smiled and handed Strung their empty fish bucket. Another youngling, Nubs, then noticed kibbin tracks, leading them in that direction. Both siblings later attended Visitor’s Day on Tenoo, which attracted guests from all over the galaxy.
