Ualaq: The Ualaq, like the Quara, do not receive the swimming bonus and are just as “at home” in the water. They also receive no penalties for Dexterity actions. Unlike their genetic cousins, Ualaq have four eyes, granting them a wider range of vision. Ualaq characters gain a +1D bonus to vision-based Search rolls. Like the Quara, Ualaq are most likely to be encountered off-world.

Belligerence: Aqualish tend to be pushy and obnoxious, always looking for the opportunity to bully weaker beings. More intelligent Aqualish turn this belligerence into cunning and become manipulators.

Size: 1.8-2 meters tall
Background: The Ualaq were an Aqualish subspecies hailing from the planet Ando. Like the Quara subspecies, the Ualaq evolved from the baseline Aquala species and preferred living on land instead of in the water. While most Ualaq developed claw-like hands with five fingers, some Ualaq had three-fingered hands with very thick digits. Unlike the Quara and the Aquala, who had two eyes, the less-common Ualaq had four.
