Background: Manufactured by Arakyd Industries, R-A7 was an RA-7 protocol droid that served the Grand Army of the Republic at the Republic Center for Military Operations on the planet Coruscant during the Clone Wars. In the year 19 BBY, it and an astromech droid designated MR-T3 were having a discussion, R-A7 speaking Kyhhhsik and the other droid binary. The pair’s conversation was interrupted when they rounded a corner and found themselves unintentionally obstructing the path of Padawan Ahsoka Tano. A fugitive escaping Republic custody at the military base, she vaulted over MR-T3 and sent the astromech spinning while an irate R-A7 shook a fist at the Jedi fleeing down the corridor.
