Special Abilities:
Amphibious: Noti can survive underwater for up to 8 hours without breathing normal air.
Adaptable: As nomads, the Noti learn to adapt to various environments quickly and efficiently. At the time of character creation only, the Noti gets 2D for every 1D he places in the survival skill and its specializations.
360 Degree Vision: Noti can see everything around them due to the placement and rotation of their eyes. This gives them an edge in combat in that they are not easily surprised or blindsided. When being attacked by surprise, they gain a +2D bonus to their initiative rolls.
Rock Camouflage: All Noti gain a +1D+2 bonus to sneak in rocky terrain due to their skin coloration and natural affinity for such places.

Background: The Noti are an amphibious species from the extragalactic world of Peridea that many consider a relatively primitive society. The truth is that they are merely very nomadic and tend not to settle in one place for long enough to develop any industry or advanced technology. Noti were experts in camouflage and carried a heavily protective shell on their backs.
