Background: Klorri-clan battle shields were long teardrop-shaped shields used by the Wookiees of Kashyyyk both practically in battle as well as for ceremonial purposes.
The shields were shaped like a teardrop and banded with bronzium. They were carved with intricate motifs that were both decorative and symbolic. While they were primarily used during important rituals and ceremonies, the Wookiees did use them in battle as well. The hardened wood was strong enough to withstand blaster fire.
