Background: The Elite Squad Trooper was a type of special forces trooper that was deployed after the formation of the Galactic Empire. Despite resembling the clone troopers of the Galactic Republic, the small group was composed of highly skilled enlisted recruits, and were tasked with neutralizing anti-Imperial insurgents throughout the galaxy in order to prove how effective conscripted troops could be.
One of the troopers utilized a flamethrower on a target, while a group of them were stationed on the planet Kamino and utilized a Nu-class transport. The troopers sported dark gray armor similar in design to Phase II clone trooper armor with green T-visors, while former Clone Force 99 commando CT-9904 “Crosshair” wore a more unique set of armor and helmet. Elite Squad Troopers utilized DC-15A blaster carbines.
