Background: The Desert Demons were a criminal gang which operated on the Outer Rim desert planet of Tatooine during the time of the Galactic Civil War. They were rivals of several swoop gangs.
In 9 ABY (1009 GC) a member of the Desert Demons was hired by a group of raiders to ambushed the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin on Tatooine. Their goal was to capture Djarin’s infant companion Grogu, a powerful Force-sensitive child. Although the group were successfully able to surprise the Mandalorian, they were ultimately defeated in combat.
