The Model 201 mortar system was a type of portable mortar artillery system manufactured by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. and costed 5,400 credits. A smoothbore weapon, the Model 201 used an electromagnetic mass-driver system to launch large-caliber shells over long distances. It was the weapon of choice for foes behind heavy cover, it fired in an arc rather than a direct line.
