Background: Scorn was a male Dathomirian Nightbrother. Together with his brother Icarus, Scorn worked as a thug in the service of the Zabrak criminal leader and Sith, Maul, during the early Imperial Era. Together with a group of Mandalorians led by Rook Kast, Scorn, and Icarus raided a bank tower in Janix city belonging to crime lord Nico Deemis. Later, the brothers assisted Maul in his attack on the Janix Civil Defense HQ to free the crime lord and Maul’s former associate, Looti Vario. After his capture, Vario was sent by Maul to the Pyke Palace on Oba Diah to deliver crates of credits to the Pyke Syndicate. After arriving, Scorn, pretending to be Maul, exited the ship and attacked the Pykes with Maul’s lightsaber before he was stunned in the back by Vario. Scorn was delivered in front of the Pykes’ leader, Illustrious Imperator, Marg Krim. Krim recognized him as not being Maul, but Maul entered the room and killed Krim and many of his guards.
