In 3 BBY, they led a session of the senate in an oath of allegiance during Senate Investiture week, crying out from the Chancellor’s Podium in the Imperial Senate Building on the planet Coruscant. The senators present repeated each line of the oath after the Oathkeeper and cheered once it was complete, although Senator Mon Mothma stopped repeating the Oathkeeper’s words before they finished. In 2 BBY, the Oathkeeper initiated a Senate meeting, where Mon Mothma spoke out about the Ghorman Massacre, publicly denounced Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and revealed herself as a member of the Rebellion.
