The Acolyte is a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.
The Acolyte was a Star Wars television series developed by Leslye Headland for Disney+. Headland wrote, executive produced, and served as the series’ showrunner. It takes place a century before the events of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, and focuses on the emergence of dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic Era. The Acolyte premiered on June 4, 2024 and concluded on July 16, 2024.
