Background: Queya was a Neimoidian who served the Trade Federation as a merchant fleet officer during the High Republic Era. In 132 BBY, she served as Chief Officer and First Mate under Captain Blex on board the WD-2550 Whydah-class Yield Conveyer Fallon, which was used as a cargo vessel. When the ship needed its shield generators repaired, the mekneks Verosha Aniseya and Fillik were sent onto the Fallon’s surface while it was in space to carry out the maintenance.

The use of mekneks violated Galactic Republic legislation stating that only droids could perform outer ship repairs, but Blex had begun cutting corners to try and ensure a profitable run. When the captain complained about how long the repairs were taking and demanded the shields be activated at once, Queya informed him that the mekneks were still working, prompting him to call them disposable. Aniseya, who could hear the conversation on the bridge over comms, then responded, causing Blex to groan. A Jedi Vector then approached the Fallon and circled in front of the bridge, where Queya recognized it as a Jedi vessel with surprise. Both she and Blex then groaned.

Once the starfighter docked, the Jedi Knight Yord Fandar and his Padawan, Tasi Lowa, made their way to the bridge and informed Blex and Queya that they were looking for Aniseya. Queya whimpered, drawing Lowa’s attention, as Blex denied there being any passengers or mekneks on board the Fallon. Fandar eventually cut off Blex’s lies by raising his hand to use the Force, but Queya quickly interjected and provided the location of Aniseya’s bunk. The two Jedi then left and arrested Aniseya, transferring her to the DTE-CSA-17 Calaboose prison ship Palwick, when it docked with the Fallon.
