Background: The Northern Mustafarians were one of the two subspecies of Mustafarians which evolved sparately in underground caves. They worked together to collect valuable minerals from the lava flow and had a trade agreement with the Techno Union. They were tall and thin (measuring 2.3 meters), with long snouts resembling those of the Kubaz. They had tough, blaster-resistant skin, but were not as resistant to temperatures as their Southern counterparts so they still required protective armor while working around the lava of their volcanic habitat. Northern Mustafarian were not as stocky and strong as Southern Mustafarians. They often became guards and expert lava flea riders which rode on the cooled, crusted-over surface of lava flows.
