Background: Musk was a human member of the Maya Pei Brigade during the Imperial Era. They were part of a group stranded on the moon Yavin 4 in 4 BBY following an attack on the brigade. By 4 BBY, Musk had joined the Maya Pei Brigade to fight against the Galactic Empire. In 4 BBY, the brigade was attacked, and Musk was a part of at least sixteen members who escaped aboard a starship that landed on Yavin 4. However, one group member departed on the ship, leaving Musk and the rest stranded on the moon. An altercation occurred between the brigade members and an individual named Porko that they found near a clearing with a damaged Breon HOY-39, which resulted in the death of Porko.
Two days after being stranded on the moon, Cassian Andor landed in the clearing with a stolen TIE Avenger that he would hand off to Porko. As Andor approached, the group announced their presence with blasters drawn and took Andor prisoner. Musk watched as two group members, Gerdis and Bardi, took turns trying to interrogate Andor. Once Rika, a group member, found the Imperial pilot helmet in the TIE, they drew their weapons on Andor again. Later on, Musk waited outside the TIE while Rika tried to learn to fly it. After realizing it was a lot more complicated to fly due to being a prototype, the group discussed the situation before Andor interrupted the group again, trying to convince them to trust him.
That night, an argument between the group erupted when discussing who should be in charge, ultimately coming to a head when Crab shot Rika with his blaster, and Rowd responded by shooting Crab. The brigade members exchange fire while splitting into two factions, with Musk siding with Bardi, Nazy, Rowd, Tick, Neek, and Flu and regrouping at the TIE while the other group retreats to the crashed HOY-39. The following morning, the group cut open a foul-smelling Yavin 4 melon. While discussing whether to eat it, Musk suggested Flu should eat it because he ate trogs on a dare before Bardi musters up the courage and takes a bite. Later in the day, the group began trying to use a rope to rotate the TIE so that its weapons would point towards the other group. During the attempt, Musk was assisted by using a tree branch to gain leverage. When they discovered the move, they opened fire at the TIE, forcing the Musk’s group to suspend their attempts.
That night, Gerdis decided to challenge Bardi to settle the dispute. The two groups cross towards each other before dropping their weapons in unison. Musk held a torch as they watched the two leaders engage in a game of Five Hands with Roski rules. While the group watched Andor escaped his captured and made his way to the ship before he could get there a Yavinian doodar came out of the jungle and scooped Bardi and Gerdis in it’s mouth. The rest of the group, including Musk, scrambled for their guns and began to shoot wildly into the jungle. When the group realized Andor had made it to the TIE and was taking off, they began shooting at it, but could not stop it from leaving.
