Required Powers: Absorb/dissipate energy, concentration, magnify senses, telekinesis, lesser force shield

Effect: When a Jedi successfully activates this power, he creates a Orb Shield around his target when underwater. This shield is effective against both energy and physical attacks and can be used as a projectile weapon against underwater targets. The strength of the orb is equal the character’s alter roll divided by three, rounded down. For example, if the Jedi has 9D in alter, he may add 3D to his Strength roll to resist damage. If the Jedi exceeds the alter difficulty by +10, he may extend the greater force shield to another character if he has direct contact with that character.

Background: Force Orb was a Force power which served as an attack. Through the manifestion of the force an Orb was created of pure Force energy that obstructed the surrounding environment. Under normal circumstances, it only worked underwater.

Kit Fisto utilized it during the Battle of Mon Calamari, creating a ball of air underwater and directing it through the legs of a Quarren artillery cannon, disabling it.

During the Battle of Mon Cala, Kit Fisto and Anakin Skywalker attempted to use this power to make a makeshift air helmet for Padmé Amidala to breathe when Riff Tamson broke her helmet spitefully with his jaws. They succeeded, but Jar Jar Binks’s Gungan saliva proved a more effective seal.
