Background: Boga was a female varactyl, a large lizard-like creature. She dwelled on the planet Utapau, and, in the final days of the Clone Wars, Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi was used as a mount as he engaged General Grievous’s forces during the Battle of Utapau.
During his search for General Grievous on Utapau, the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi needed a mount. He visited an area of pens where the Pau’an natives kept varactyls and dactillions that they had trained for use as transports. Here, he encountered and chose the varactyl Boga as his mount after using the Force to influence the mind of a Utai wrangler. She aided him in his fight against General Grievous but was later killed on the orders of Commander Cody upon the execution of Order 66 in an attempt to kill Kenobi.
