Background: Arin was a female Duros who was once in a relationship with the criminal Cad Bane. While pregnant with her and Bane’s child, she was shot in the crossfire of a duel between Bane and the city’s marshal. Though she survived, married Bane’s former friend—and the new marshal—Niro, and eventually birthed her and Bane’s son, Isaac, she eventually died some time later. As a result, Niro, who raised Isaac as his own, did so alone until Bane returned and killed Niro.
