Strictly loyal to his master, Maul, Spybot has a personality distinct from that of other droids. Sinister and cocky, the droid often spoke to itself while completing its various tasks, ranging from surveillance and sabotage to direct combat.
A saucer-shaped droid of an unknown model, Spybot had repulsorlifts for flight and multiple appendages for climbing, crawling, and grasping. Armed with several tools and weapons, including blasters, computer spikes, a smoke screen deployer, and a stun cannon, Spybot had a robust skillset.
