Background: The Wookiee projectile rifle was a primitive slugthrower rifle used and produced by Wookiees on Kashyyyk. The rifle utilized the explosive force produced by a chemical product or compressed gas to propel its projectiles at high speeds. The weapon had an effective range of 300 meters and was made in-part with bronzium. In 19 BBY, towards the end of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Wookiee projectile rifle was used by the Wookiee Army’s Wookiee warriors during the battle on their homeworld.
