Background: Havoc Outpost was a trading and supply base used as a rebel rendezvous point in Wild Space used by the fledging rebellion during their early campaigns against the Galactic Empire. Located on the edge of a cliff overlooking a mountain lake, the outpost had a number of landing pads surrounding a central command area featuring a flight control tower. Underground access points connected the main Havoc Outpost structure to hollowed-out spires of rock in the middle of the lake.
In 4 BBY, Sabine Wren, a Mandalorian and member of the Spectres, brought the GNK-series power droid EG-86, who carried information for the rebellion, to Havoc Outpost. It was delivered to the astromech droid R2-D2, acting on behalf of Senator Bail Organa of Alderaan.
