Background: Nico was a white-furred alien who served as a senator in the Imperial Senate of the Galactic Empire. The day after the Ghorman Massacre in 2 BBY, they spoke at a senate session in the Imperial Senate Building on the planet Coruscant and revealed that they would be submitting a list of the Imperial forces that had died on Ghorman after the session. Nico called the Imperials martyrs, and spoke against the Ghorman people who had been massacred, following anti-Ghorman talking points the Empire had long been pushing.
