Background: Turret droids are capable of functioning independently and defending against infantry. The turret droid will take a few seconds to lock a target before unleashing a rapid volley of blaster fire. It is only capable of targeting a single enemy at any given time. It can only rotate and fire within a 180-degree field. Many of them were located throughout Golas Aram’s compound on the planet Irudiru shortly before the New Republic’s Liberation of Kashyyyk.
